Dr Sofie is able to treat a wide variety of conditions using various Osteopathic techniques that are tailored for each individual patient's needs.

As the Osteopathic principle states, "the body is a complete unit" - Dr Sofie is a true believer of this principle, treating not only the direct area of pain, irritation and/or discomfort, but also seeking patterns in the body that may be sore due to compensation. She thoroughly addresses any underlying causes to prevent re-occurrence of the injury.

Dr Sofie is passionate about treating and managing many conditions including headaches, female related conditions such as pain during and after pregnancy, as well as long standing chronic conditions such as arthritis, chronic neck and lower back pain, work injuries such as RSI, tennis elbow/golfers elbow plus more.

Throughout her career Dr Sofie has played a high level of represetative basketball and also has a keen interest in the treatment and management of sporting injuries including muscle strains, ligament sprains, and tendonitis.

Dr Sofie enjoys the personal aspect of her role - meeting with patients from all walks of life and helping them to understand their musculoskeletal condition(s), whilst also providing simple ways for them to help themselves to encourage whole body health and quality of life. This level of preventative medicine enables patients to work together on their own health with Dr Sofie to resolve conditions faster and more effectively, in effect, empowering them to maintain their own recovery and management strategies well into the future.

Dr Sofie has completed extra training courses and holds certificates in Neuromuscular Dry Needling (which she finds very effective for inflammatory conditions and trigger points), as well as a Cupping certification (which she finds useful with musculoskeletal conditions and tension points which are to “stubborn” to release manually).

Dr Sofie is also able to speak fluently in Greek if required.
